Here's Chloe getting dried by her mum, Racquel after her bath. Isn't this the sweetest, most loving thing you've seen?

I held Chloe for 3 hours while she slept yesterday and she just looked so beautiful snuggled up in my arms! She's just so tiny and perfect.

Mum and bub are both doing very well. After a couple of hiccups, Racquel's milk has come through and bub is feeding very well. It's so beautiful seeing them together! Michael (the daddy) is chuffed too and it's so sweet!

I think i might frame this photo and give it to them. *nods*

I'm an aunty!!

At 5:24 this morning my sister in law had her baby, Chloe Leigh, weighing in at 7lb1, 51cm long! :D
I wish i didn't have to go to work today! I'll get my first cuddle tonight at about 7! I'm taking my camera so i'll post a photo later!

To other news, Adrian and i are moving in a week and a half! We found a great place just around the corner from here and we're so excited!! It has three bedrooms, all with built-ins, a large family room, great kitchen, double lock-up garage, big rumpus room underneath with it's own toilet and sink, a shed out the back, it's fully fenced and air conditioned! I'm so excited! Oh and guess what?? The toilet is seperate to the bathroom!!! Yay! There are a couple of drawbacks, we can't get cable, there isn't a bath (only a weird half bath thing) and it will probably take me about half an hour to walk to work rather than the 5 minutes i walk now! All in all though it's a great house and i'm really excited! :D

I can't wait to finish work today so i can go and cuddle my little niece! :D

She's asleep on my lap right now, i just bathed her and flea treated her and she went absolutely nuts! It's so funny to watch her run around crazily after a bath!

She's getting fat, i'm feeding her too much! :o I wasn't sure at first how much to feed her because she always seems to be hungry and she's very, very interested in food! I've learnt my lesson now that i can see her pudgy tummy and i'll cut back a bit.

Omg! I just taught her to sit! I thought it was going to take ages because she's so hyper around food/treats but perseverance paid off! :) What a cutie!

The house hunt is not going so well but we're not worried yet. We'll just keep looking until we find the perfect place or we get caught with puppy and get kicked out of this one, whichever comes first! :p

I know, i know, i've been so slack! I haven't updated in so long because i really don't have anything to say! I realised that all i was doing was blabbing on about what i did on my weekends and other such boring stuff and i thought to myself "Bec, no-one cares about this sh*t" but i guess some of you do! :D

Big congratulations to my brother Matt and his soon-to-be wife Sue! :)

So what's new with me? Not much at all! I'm still working in the same place, Adrian and i are still very happy and we just got a puppy! She's a chihuahua and she's adorable! She's not purebred or anything, she's mixed with a few things i'm sure so i don't know how big she'll get. She was the runt! Adrian has named her Leia and she's just the most adorable little thing! I'll post a photo or two later! :)

We are now looking around for a house to move to as we can't have a dog where we are. We were hoping to stay here until we were ready to buy but then puppy cam along! It's ok though, we've been wanting to move for a while, our place seems to get smaller and smaller! :p

Well that's it from me for now, i'll try and update a little more often from now on! :)

I haven't updated in a while so i thought i'd better jump on let you know what's been happening. Christmas was fantastic, both my brothers visited and we all went on a roadtrip to Cathedral Rock! That was just awesome! Then after Christmas Adrian, Chris, Nikki and I went on a roadtrip to Sydney! :D We did the whole tourist bit - Taronga Zoo, the Aquarium, Maritime museum, Darling Harbour, walked across the Harbour Bridge and watched the new year fireworks at the Opera House! :D Nikki and i sat there for 13 hours to get a good spot and it was worth every hot, sweaty minute of it! :D
I've taken so many photos, it ma take me a little while to get them all on too my computer and up on to Flickr but i'll get there. I've also done a lot of filming and am now learning how to make mini movies and burn them to DVD! :D It keeps me busy!

Back to work on Monday! I'm actually kind of looking forward to going - it's air conditioned! :p
I'll post photos one day soon when i get around to it! It's just too hot to do anything right now!

Mum, Nikki and i got up at 3am today, went to the Gold Coast and photographed the sunrise! It was fantastic! So much fun and it was just so beautiful at that time of day! Here's a link to my Flickr account if you want to see the photos!

Last week i fried my electric keyboard! I was distraught! It was the first big thing i ever bought myself with my own earned money and i plugged it in with the wrong adapter and it was gone! :( The worst part is that i had spent hours and hours cleaning it out and fixing it after something got spilled on it at mum's place and i had finally gotten it working again!
Tonight my darling husband bought me another one! :D It's even better than my old one! I could have had the same one and up until i saw this one that's what i was going to get but this one is so cool! Instead of showing the keys being played on the LCD screen like my old one, this one has lights in the actual keys!:D So i can teach myself all the songs that are stored in it really easily! :D I'll post a photo sometime! :D

This is a photo i took at the Botanic Gardens on the weekend. This little snake was so cool but a little too fast for me to get any really good shots! I thought he would look good in colourised black and white! :D

I haven't updated in a while! Not a whole lot has been happening really! It's been so hot the last couple of days, it's awful! I'm happy though because this year i finally have air con at work! It's so nice, it really does make a difference when you are comfortable and able to work effectivley.
My brother in law's girlfriend just had her 19 week scan and she's having a girl! They were hoping for a boy but they're still happy.
Nikki is 9 weeks gone today! :D
When is it my turn?? :p

This is my attempt of doing colourised black and white. It took me a fair while to do but it was so much fun! I haven't done the foreground very well but if you don't look too closely you can't really tell! :p Hope you like it!

Well, it was my birthday yesterday and i had a fantastic weekend! Friday night my sister cooked me dinner at her place which was beautiful! Saturday we went to the in-laws' house and hung out and at night time we had drinks at our place with Chris and Nikki, played pool, ping pong and darts! It was a really nice night. Yesterday we had a picnic in Rocks Riverside Park with Adrian's parents, mum and Chris and Nikki. It rained quite heavily for a while but it was really fun! I'll post some photo's later. Last night we had drinks again (probably a few too many) with Chris and Nikki and spent the night in an inflatable pool in the garage! All in all it was a really enjoyable birthday! Thank you everyone for the great gifts and the many "Happy Birthday" wishes i got throughout the day! :D

I was sitting on my back porch this afternoon, minding my own business when a bug flew into my eye!! It was a bit of a shock at first and more than a little uncomfortable but i couldn't seem to blink it out. I went into the bathroom to look at it and had an epiphany - this would make a fantastic photograph! So i went and got my camera, put the battery in it, set it up to take a still shot and aimed it at my eye...the flash went off! So now i've got a blurry spot in my eye as well as the bug which, by now, was moving around and struggling to get itself unattached from the stickiness of my eyeball. I tried a couple more times to get a shot but i either missed my eye completely through too much movement of the camera or it was really blurry. I didn't get a decent enough shot to show you i'm afraid.
Moral of the story: when taking photographs of bugs in your eye, make sure the flash is off and use a tripod!

I went to an Undercoverwear Party at my mother in law's yeterday, i took Nikki with me and it was pretty cool. We both bought something and we've booked our own party for November 18th. If anyone who reads this is interested in going just let me know. They have some nice stuff, underwear, sleepwear and some clothes too like jeans etc. I bought Happy Hippo pajama pants! :D They're so cute and they come with a free shower sponge with a hippo on it! :D I'm such a child! That wasn't the only thing i bought so stop rolling your eyes!
Adrian got to ride his motorbike a fair bit over the weekend and he's loving it. I'm a little less scared now that he's getting more confident.

It was my husband's birthday yesterday! I made him a chocolate mud cake the day before and hid it in the fridge. When i got home yesterday i iced it and started cooking lasagne, then i cleaned up the house, had a shower and changed into something nicer than my work uniform. I finished cooking the lasagne, got the table ready (we usually don't eat at it so it was covered in crap) and made a salad. When he walked in the door i poured him a beer in a chilled glass and put dinner on the table. We ate by the light of the fish tank! :D and a candle! He loved his lasagne and his mud cake with ice cream and custard!
He'll get his motorbike licence very soon and then he'll be able to ride his new bike on his own. I'm excited for him and scared of him being on the road at the same time! :D

Agh! The mentality of people! Honestly, are people really that stupid? I don't consider myself overly intelligent but i at least have some brains. Working in retail really lets you see just how incredibly moronic the general public are. Here are some questions that i have had here at work:

1. Can you put colour in my black cartridge? Honest mistake for generally stupid people.
2. Is there a cartridge that has all the colours instead of just three?
3. Do you sell car batteries? I am CARTRIDGE World not Battery World people!
4. I need to have my key cut. The locksmith is next door, open your eyes, observe your surroundings and try again.
5. Can you put me through to the store? That was on the phone and when i explained that we are separate franchises and our phones are not connected he got quite angry and said he would report me to "the customer helping people"

Those are just a few of the unbelievable things i hear every single day! I love my job but my god, are people actually that stupid or is this some kind of long winded practical joke?

I said i would, so there it is.

My mum is ok if anyone is interested. She had a bowel obstruction and liver dysfunction. The obstruction cleared and the liver is healing itself as livers have a tendancy to do.

I have a shocking headache this afternoon but other than that all is well. Aqua aerobics again tonight, i'm very much looking forward to that. Hopefully my headache will have eased a bit by then.

Mum was admitted to the hospital today. :( She's ok, in pain and tired but ok. They have to do some tests.

Nikki and i went to aqua aerobics tonight! It was really hard work but good fun. We're going to go once a week now. I'm very tired now so i think an early night is in order!

Wow, was i drunk last night! Here's the story:

Friday night i just got to sleep at 12:30am when my mum called, very very sick and said she needed a doctor. I decided to drive her to the hospital. When i got to her place she was so sick and in so much pain that i couldn't get her out of the bathroom so i called an ambulance. We then spent all night in the emergency room, which was very cold, where they gave her morphine and did tests. By 8am we were told that she had a small bowel obstruction and that she would probably be admitted. I went home, planning on coming back later. At this point i'd been awake for 24 hours so i tried to get some sleep, managed about 4 hours. Mum called later on saying that she could go home so i went and got her. Turns out she also has minor liver dysfunction. Poor mummy. So i hung out at her place till she was sleeping and Nikki came over. When i asked Nikki what she wanted to do and she said "you and me and a cask of goon" i agreed that it was a great idea! In my defence, i had not eaten in nearly 24 hours at that point and i'd only had 4 hours sleep.
So, we got really, really drunk! It was a very good night, right up until Nikki started spewing! :P

Today we saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and i loved it. I just love Johnny Depp! Not much else to tell really.
Mum's feeling a bit better today which is great! That's all for now! :D

So so very drunk! Chair doesn't roll, feet hurt. Spent the night with mum in hospital, very tired, very drunk. Hope you're ok mum, love you.
And i love Nikki, and Chris, and my husband (ver natural mon).
My camera is cool, we are filming drunk stuff! Nikki's weird! :P
